Message from the Principal
At West Riverview School we are “Learning and Growing Together”. WRES is a wonderful place to learn – we are the big school where little things matter. West Riverview is a K-5 school with approximately 370 students. There are many opportunities for students to be involved in their school community. Activities include academic pursuits, recreational activities, art explorations and social engagement. Academic pursuits include activities such as chess, Robotics club, Fibonacci Club, and Hackmatack reading. Recreational pursuits include activities such as the cross country team, track and field, various intramurals, snow shoeing and water polo team. We also encourage social engagement; for example collecting food for our local food bank, and students in our three to five classes are invited to participate in Youth In Action. The Arts are celebrated through drama, choir, movie making club and community presentations.
Our Home and School, Parent School Support Committee and volunteers are active in our school. Their help and support are instrumental in our successful implementation of many programs.
West Riverview School is part of a larger community of schools in the Town of Riverview. The Community of schools follows three main guidelines: Hands are for Helping;
♥ Caring and Sharing
♥ Do the Right Thing.
Communication is integral to our success, please feel free to drop by or send us a note. We can be reached at 506-856-3451 or karla.webster@nbed.nb.ca
